Unit Title: Tell Me A Picture
Assessment of Learning Schedule (2019):
Remember, this term we are going to be compiling a weekly Google doc of all the activities we complete and then upload this to Google Classroom.
You can work in your workbooks as well but will need to take photos of your work (photos that are easy enough for me to read) and then upload those to Google Classroom.
We will discuss all of this in our first Zoom session.

I want you to summarise this story into 30 words or less. Make sure you keep the main points and provide enough detail so the person hearing the story can retell it to other people. Include the word count in brackets at the end of your summary.
You are now to look at TWO visual representations of the Transfiguration using your iPad/ Computer. Look up 'The Transfiguration' on Google Images to find these visual representations. Make sure the two images/representations that you choose are relatively different so you have something to write about.
You are to create two columns in your exercise book and note the differences and similarities of the two images of your choice. You should look at paintings, cartoons and/or photographic re-creations. This task is aiming for you to see how different people interpret the same written message.

Go to the following website:
Now, you are to go on to the website above and read through the information provided. Once you have done that complete the quiz questions (just for fun) and you are to either:
Create a poster all about the Silk Road.
OR
Create a brochure advertising a tourist adventure
For both of these activities, think about the five W's and H (who, what, when, why, where, and how).
Take a photo of these creations and upload it to Google Classroom
